Harrison’s Parade for World Peace was led by the 72 year-old grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, Arun Gandhi. Mr. Gandhi studied at his grandfather’s side from revolution through revolt and Gandhi’s tragic assassination in 1946. Hollywood Attendees included: David Arquette, Darryl Hannah, Katie Segal, Mike Farrell, LeVar Burton, Sally Kirkland, Hal Sparks, and Cindy Sheehan. Kofi Annan sent a special video message in honor of the day.
What began during a recent interview with Gandhi as a call-to-action for “One Human Family” (motivated by Harrison’s visits to America’s most inclusive and southernmost city – Key West), award-winning LA Talk Show Host Harrison quickly expanded this credo into a worldwide movement which includes Spain, Austria, Japan, Egypt, Italy and more with the assistance of the United Nations associations.

Now at the first anniversary, San Francisco’s recent parade included the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition and a host of the nation’s leading intellectuals, philosophers, and socially-minded celebrities.
