Whats happened at Occupy Wall Bank of America Over the Weekend
By Frances Lee, writer for The Smart Show
What the heez happened at Occupy Bank of America who our dear friend and radio guest Summer Reese, was arrested. Well, the police thought it was appropriate to bully the protesters in FULL RIOT GEAR.
According to the New York Times “Authorities repeatedly warned the group to disperse, but they refused to move tents set up on a grassy area in the plaza. The group began its second march about noon at the Occupy Los Angeles encampment near City Hall Park and headed back toward the financial district.
As the riot-gear clad barricated both peaceful protesters and the homeless alike, they cleared the sidewalks of Bank of America.
23 people were arrested.
The bail was set for a ridiculous ($$) to these peaceful protesters who barely make that much a year, compared to our own Summer Reese who was penalized with the same charges to only $100.
It is unclear of what the outcome could possibly be, and a very untimely manner too.
Ten protesters, locked arm in arm, faced off against a barricade of police.

Having a bit of leverage, I thought it presented a great opportunity to mess with them a little without fear of retribution. I made a video of the call and posted it on my blog along with my comments about what happened and a fuller "director's cut" transcript. Pay attention to his response to the classic line "Why does Bank of America hate Christmas?" Enjoy. http://www.ragingwisdom.com/?p=508
