So I guess our dear friend Congresswoman Bachmann was in for a rude awakening during the Iowa caucus this past Tuesday. After she placing a measly 6th place, she announced that she will ‘suspend her presidential campaign’.

“Last night, the people of Iowa spoke with a very clear voice, so I have decided to stand aside,” Bachmann sad.“I have no regrets, none whatsoever. We never compromised our principles and we can leave this race knowing we ran it with the utmost integrity.”

I guess the word ‘integrity’ is tossed around on the hill these days.

Nonetheless, I’m glad she had the smarts to quit while she was ahead. (And I used the term ‘ahead’ loosely’.)

I was getting really nervous with the direction our country was taking with this Tea Party nonesense.
