Bradley Manning Finishline

Alexa O’Brien – independent journalist whose work covering the Manning trial was shortlisted for the 2013 Martha Gellhorn Prize for Journalism in the UK. She had provided the only publicly available transcripts of the proceedings for 18 months.  She was recently awarded a grant from the Freedom of the Press Foundation, who has published the
only contemporaneous transcripts of the trial now underway.

Paul Guequierre –  deputy press secretary at the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest LGBT civil rights organization. Originally from Wisconsin (go Pack!), he has been with HRC for 3 and a half years. Prior to that, he worked in the administration of former governor Jim Doyle (we miss him terribly).
